The Communications Committee (the Committee) has the responsibility for content, printing and distribution of the town newsletter, and other public media communications as may be designated by the Select Board.
The Select Board may review all content of the Newsletter prior to printing and distribution.
The Town Manager shall review content of the Newsletter prior to printing and distribution.
The Committee should review the Town Website, recommend site content and identify corrections to the Website Manager (Administrator).
The Committee shall be comprised of at least seven (7) members on a voluntary basis for a term of one (1) year.
Contributing to the Newsletter
The Communication Committee welcomes and encourages Town Departments, Boards, and Committees to provide articles for inclusion in the newsletter. The deadline for articles is the 10th of the month proceeding the issue date.
The St. George Town Newsletter is issued in January, March, May, July, September and November.
Effective January 2013, the Town of St. George Newsletter will no longer be printed and blanket mailed. Among the reasons for the change is to save on paper usage, printing and postage costs as well as the time involved in processing the newsletters for postal delivery.
How can you continue to get your Newsletter if we stop mailing them?
For those who have access to the Internet, you can simply read it on-line. The Newsletter is posted on the home page of the Town’s website. Jus click on Read Our Town Newsletter. If you wish to be notified via email when the newletter is posted, simply click on Join Our Email Lists and follow the on screen instructions.

If you cannot arrange to pick up a paper copy or if you live out of the area, you may subscribe for a postal mailing by sending a note to the Town Office requesting postal mail delivery. Please send your name and postal mailing address to:
