Outdoor Clinic Schedule:  Based on our crazy spring weather, here is the updated outdoor clinic schedule for Little League and Farm League baseball and softball:

Monday, April 1:  Ages 7-9  2:30-3:45     Ages 10-12 4:00-5:15

Tuesday, April 2:  Ages 10-12 2:30-3:45   Ages 7-9   4:00-5:15

Wednesday, April 10:  Ages 7-9  2:30-3:45   

Little League/Farm League/T-ball registrations:  It’s time to register your child for the spring season if you have not already.

The deadline for Little League and Farm League registration is Friday, April 5th.

As a review – this season goes by ages, not grades and here is the breakdown as a reminder.  Note, there is a different age cut off for baseball than softball (this is a Little League idea, not mine!)    Little League:  ages 9-12   Farm League- ages 6*-11, T-ball- ages 4-6.  There is overlap because not all kids are ready for Little League at 9 or 10 and T-ball kids may go up to Farm League at 6 if they have had a year of T-ball, but most benefit from another year of T-ball.

Baseball age is determined by what age you are on Aug 31 of this year.

Softball age is determined by what age you were on Dec 31 of last year.

April Train Ride to Boston:   THERE IS ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT TO REGISTER!  The deadline for getting your money in is Wednesday, April 3rd.  You can now get your seat on the train for Thursday, April 18 during school vacation!   Round trip to Boston is $35.00!   You can pay by cash or check at the Town Office.  Don’t miss out!   The bus leaves from Brunswick at 7:10 and gets to Boston at 10:30.   The return from Boston leaves North Station at 5:20 and gets to Brunswick at 8:40.

Little League Tryouts:   Please mark your calendars!   All players who are planning on playing Little League baseball or softball are required to attend the tryout.  NOTE – there is still time to register!

The baseball tryout is Tuesday, April 9th on the big ball field 5:00-6:15 PM

The Softball tryout is Thursday, April 11th on the big ball field 5:00-6:15 PM.

If any players cannot make the tryout session, they will not be able to play this season.  If there is an unavoidable contact, please contact P&R Director Ben Vail.
